Janet Miller has written an excellent post at Marketing Pilgrim that looks at Google’s recent acquisition strategy and how it applies (or doesn’t apply) to their business plan. I’ve said the same thing here dozens of times: Google needs to focus on it’s search business. I agree with Miller 100%. - Matt

Matt, Thanks for the comments. It’s been a great frustration of mine as an SEM that Google doesn’t make it’s search experience better than it is — both on the organic and paid side. There have been advancements, but with a company the size of Google and with its coffers, I would have expected more from them at a faster pace. It’s great to see I’m not the only one that feels this way! Post a comment
