The Official Google Blog has published some numbers that illustrate "A year in Google blogging".  The post highlights some of the accomplishments of the blog and points out some of the major events of the year.  Just for fun I'm going to look at the Google post as it compares with the 2 months that the Internet Marketing Monitor has been in existence.  Like I said.  This is just for fun.

When you compare the past 12 months of the Google Blog to the past 2 months of the Internet Marketing Monitor, you get something that looks like this:

The Internet Marketing Monitor
(2 Months)

Obviously there's no comparison.  But it's still fun to see what how what you've done compares to some of the bigger names.  We did beat them on the number of posts, though.  Of course, if you count all of the Google blogs the number would probably be different.  But still, I'd say a blog of less than 2 months old isn't doing too bad when you look at some of our numbers.  I've already talked about some of our goals for 2007 and offered some more statistics there.

Our 2 months in blogging at the Internet Marketing Monitor has been fun.  And if it's any indication of the future, the best is yet to come.
